as a pre/postnatal specialist I take pride in finding, using, and recommending maternity products that help make my clients and supporter’s  pregnancies and postpartum stages as enjoyable as possible.  today i’m sharing a few maternity products from JOBST® that help ease the discomforts pregnancy can sometimes bring.

it’s common for pregnant women to experience tension, heaviness, and/or aching in the lower legs, ankles and feet at some point during their journey. it’s perfectly normal, but uncomfortable and possibly painful!  compression therapy is often recommended because it promotes blood circulation and alleviates leg discomfort.

these JOBST® Maternity Opaque Compression Stockings leave you feeling lighter and can help reduce the lower body swelling, pressure, and pain. how? a precisely defied pressure is applied to your legs via the socks.  This ‘gradient pressure’ is strongest at the ankle and decreases in an upwards direction along the leg, which helps to promote and improve circulation.

they are soft to the touch and provide excellent ventilation and moisture management as i walk!  you can wear the socks for as long as you feel comfortable, but especially when walking, sitting, or standing.

now, i still can’t get away from wearing black when i workout lol, but the socks also come in beige, navy, gray, and cranberry.

the socks should feel snug, but not painfully tight.

wearing the socks at night is not needed (since your feet and legs are all at the same level) but you can also wear them just lounging around the house.

so, i feel like baby #4 will be our biggest baby at birth yet, guys!  i’m currently experiencing a few things for the first time like sciatica and low back pain here in my 3rd trimester.  71% of women report low back pain and 65% report pelvic girdle pain during pregnancy so i’m definitely not alone!

as we gain weight and baby grows, hormonal changes affect our joints and tendons and our ligaments and muscles can become strained.  JOBST Maternity Belly Bands are proven to support lower back and baby bump discomfort during daily activities, which can result in decreased pain overall.

the belly band is suitable for all trimesters (it adapts as your belly grows!) and comes in black, white and rose. since we recently found out we are having another girl, the rose color was perfect! like the compression socks, these bands were developed with a blend of breathable, soft yarns that feel comfortable on your skin while providing the support you need.

i know i have made my stance very clear on how i am against using waist trainers for weight loss, but i can absolutely get behind and support JOBST Postnatal Tubes. they simply help postpartum mamas look and feel their best in their clothes by creating a smooth shaping effect in your midsection.  the material is soft and breathable, and designed to provide extra comfort for all day wear.

i’m excited to use mine when the times comes!
