Simple & Spicy Grilled Shrimp (over Roasted Red Pepper Cream Sauce)

ingredients:

  • 1 lb shelled, large, EZ peel shrimp
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp coconut aminos
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice 
  • sea salt & cracked black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, minced

How to cook Simple & Spicy Grilled Shrimp (over Roasted Red Pepper Cream Sauce)

  1. add shrimp to a bowl along with coconut aminos; let sit as you retrieve your other ingredients
  2. preheat your grill to medium high heat
  3. in a small bowl, crush minced garlic, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and paprika together well.  add olive oil and lemon juice to form a paste.
  4. add shrimp to bowl and coat them well
  5. cook the shrimp 2-3 minutes per side or until opaque and transfer to a serving dish. sprinkle with fresh minced cilantro or parsley and serve!
  6. yummy option: add shrimp to my vegan Roasted Red Pepper Cream Sauce!
