a family favorite! one bowl wonder filled with juicy turkey sausage, veggies, and cheesy pasta.

How to cook Turkey Sausage & Peppers Pasta Bowl

  1. boil a pot of water and add a dash of sea salt. once boiling, add pasta and cook according to the box's directions (or your preferred texture)
  2. heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil
  3. once hot, throw in your onion, bell peppers, salt, pepper. and sauté them until caramelized for about 3-5 minutes; lower heat if need be
  4. add sliced sausage and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until almost cooked through 
  5. add in a tbsp of dairy-free butter and the sliced mushrooms; cook until mushrooms are tender 
  6. drain pasta and add back into the pot (solo) along with butter and garlic salt seasoning. mix well
  7. now, transfer pasta to your pan with the sausage and peppers mixture and add the spinach. toss and combine while the spinach wilts just a little 
  8. top with cheese and place pan under broiler until cheese melts (or you can add the cheese to the individual servings only)
  9. enjoy!
