Maple Dijon Chicken Thighs

Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless skin less chicken thighs
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 3 heaping tbsp stone ground mustard
- 2 tsp coconut aminos
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt blend
- cracked black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp grapeseed oil
Instructions
- whisk all ingredients together and pour mixture over thighs in a large bowl. marinate for at least 30 minutes minimum (overnight for best results)
- set your oven to 400 degrees
- heat a non-stick pan to high heat and add grapeseed oil
- once sizzling hot, add chicken thighs (smooth side down) to your pan. try to fit as many in as you can without overcrowding your pan. make sure the thighs remain flat and level
- sear for 4 minutes on each side (check for a golden brown crust first! place entire pan into the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
- sprinkle thighs with fresh minced cilantro or parsley and serve!
Notes:
marinate thighs for 30 minutes minimum or overnight for BEST flavor.
