Greek Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1 whole egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup red onion, minced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, minced
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 3/4 tsp salt
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl and combine well
- take 2 tbps of the mixture and form a round ball; makes approx. 12-14 meatballs
- coat skillet with non-stick cooking spray and set it to medium heat
- cook meatballs in 2 batches; each batch should take about 8-10 min
- sear and rotate meatballs every 2 minutes on each side until cooked through
- add your favorite sauce or eat them as is
Notes
you can also bake these meatballs on 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes
