twice as big as a normal serving of oats for the same amount of calories!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 cup water
  • dash salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 

Instructions

  1. combine 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats and a dash of salt in a nonstick pot
  2. add 1 cup non-dairy milk + 1 cup of water + vanilla 
  3. bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer
  4.  cook and stir until thick and creamy, about 12-15 minutes
  5. add cinnamon and stir
  6. top with fresh berries, nuts, and/or monk fruit sweetener or stevia 

Notes:

it might seem like too much liquid at first, but it will cook down, don't worry🙂
