
Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower

a healthy, filling twist on your favorite wings!
Ingredients:
- 10 oz cauliflower (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 cup franks red hot sauce
- 2 tbsp vegan butter
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 cupwhole wheat bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- add florets to a large mixing bowl and set aside
- melt butter and hot sauce in a microwave safe bowl (or in a sauce pan over medium-low heat), add in olive oil. mix until combined
- pour & coat melted sauce over cauliflower florets well
- whisk together the breadcrumbs, powders, parsely, salt, & pepper
- divide the coated cauliflower into two separate batches
- sprinkle the dry mix evenly over both batches and GENTLY mix until cauliflower is coated again
- add 1st batch to your air fryer basket and fry for 7 minutes on 400 degrees
- *STOP & SHAKE basket*
- air fry same batch for 5 more minutes on 400 degrees
- remove first batch and repeat this same sequence for the 2nd batch
Notes:
i normally pre-heat my air fryer for 2 minutes on 400 degrees.
fresh cauliflower florets work way better for BIG, chunky, wing-like pieces vs. frozen
make sure your cauliflower is dry before beginning- that way they turn out as crispy as possible.
