pot stickers are eeeeeasily one of my fave appetizers to order when dining out. it’s crazy hard to even pick something at Cheesecake Factory anyway, right! the variety they offer is outta this world and truth be told, i have yet to order something i didn’t care for. anyway, the great thing about pot stickers is that they are already a pretty low-calorie dish. i used Nasoya all natural wonton wrappers, and i’ve teamed up with Nasoya to bless 3 lucky ducks with coupons for free goods in my very next post! Nasoya also makes egg roll wrappers (remember those bomb (i need a new word) vegan Crunchy Kale Asian Egg Rolls i made last month?? see below) and they have a line of organic tofu that has all the great benefits of their original line…plus a little something special! more about that next though.
about these pot stickers- here’s my super easy, homemade version just for youuuuuuu.
i forgot to pour some broth on the plate to make it look more like CF’s presentation, but whatevs.i only found square wonton wrappers but they still worked fine vs. the round. no biggie! for that dipping sauce back there, i just added more broth, liquid aminos to taste, plus chopped green onion, and white sesame seeds to a small bowl.tha real deal.
these were a huge hit here at home with my boys and also with a few of my vegan readers.
wonton wrappers, egg roll wrappers, or Tofu Plus… which free product will you choose if you win?
