look at her GO!
i wish i could work out with every single one of my clients! i’ve been training with my girl Tiffany since last month and she is determined to be photo shoot ready for family holiday pictures next month. she is 9 weeks postpartum and well on her way to those goals we set. setting short-term goals are super important for motivation on those days you need it the most!
a few sundays ago, our pastor spoke on how God views the work that we do. i’m referring to our jobs and how we earn a living. when you keep Him in mind and do your tasks as if you were doing them for Him, well that really puts things in perspective as far as how much effort you put forth, doesn’t it? you want to give God your very best, right? exactly. in serving others, we are actually serving God! attitude is everything. treat others how you want to be treated. approach others how you want to be approached.
now, meal prepping for my clients haaaaardly feels like work since i LOVE to cook and i already do this for my own family weekly. being in a position to help others live happier, fitter, and healthier lives makes my ‘job’ all the more fulfilling and worthwhile though. being a blessing to others gives me great joy and ultimately glory to Him!
i went to teach my Lifetime class smelling like grilled turkey burgers but it was all good.
all done! 3 days worth of food ready for Tiffany to devour.
onto the star of the show, the Crispy Chicken Coconut Crispers! i had so much fun making these on Periscope. i have been following SkinnyMeg via instagram for the longest and apparently she is following me on Periscope cause she graciously shared my broadcast! i suddenly got a flood of new SkinnyMeg loving viewers lol and it was awesome. she’s a fit mom blogger too; please check her out, fit friends! anyway, these guys are paleo-friendly if that’s your thing. someone asked me if being paleo was hard… um, YA cause i’m not 100% paleo! i can’t ever see myself giving up oatmeal…or popcorn… i could go on, haha. i eat it all… dairy-free, gluten-free, meat, vegan, paleo… and i just make the healthiest choices possible and stick to my macros. to each their own 🙂
alriiight. so make an assembly line kinda thing (the egg should be after the chicken, i know) and get ready to dip and coat.
and we’re here.
while at walmart the other day….i know. so unlike me, right? i am lactose intolerant but i still enjoy dairy in small doses every now and then (fro-yo, hello). this right here called for one of those times. yall. it is incredible. i cannot wait to create a savory recipe for this stuff. stuffed crepes come to mind!!! have you seen or tried this one or any other flavor? i saw a pumpkin spice one……………
lastly, things are finally happening, LOL!!! i know yall are like ummmm, so are you gonna actually use the app with us or what, fitfoodiele? i logged 3 treadmill miles (quick 5k) at the gym after my workout yesterday and it felt GREAT being able to see my mileage go up. i ran on the treadmill aaaaall last week and an IGer told me i could switch my Nike + settings to indoor. #fail reading is fundamental, smh. i sure wish i would had known about that option sooner. anyway, time to catch up to my Nike + friends. i love this app because seeing you guys rack up all these miles really motivates me to step my game up and stay consistent. treadmill or outside…i’ll definitely be keeping up with running several times a week. yall keep it up too!
