my client, Chantal, is officially halfway through her 1st fit pregnancy journey and has been on fi-yah!!! she is crazy consistent and powers through each of her early morning workouts with me. yep, she’s 20 weeks and still up at the crack of dawn to move! WHAT an inspiration she is! when we’re not training together, she still gets in 3-4 days worth of activity per week. consistency is the name of this fit pregnancy game, ladies.

what fruit haven’t you had in a good while?! i went grocery shopping earlier this week and found cantaloupes on sale for just 88 cents at HEB. couldn’t pass them up! and here’s why you should definitely include them in your diet, especially if you’re preggo:

last night was definitely one of those, ‘the heck are we gonna eat for dinner?!’ kinda nights.didn’t know where this was going but i love where it ended up! i threw together seasoned 97% lean ground turkey, fresh sweet corn, red bell peppers, green onion, cilantro, low-sodium kidney beans, and quinoa. altogether, it made something pretty darn yummy! i topped a bowl of it with avocado and a lil’ shredded jack cheese. oh my word. i have chilled big time on the amount of cheese i was eating in the 1st trimester by the way, haha. anyway, this will work wonders for meal prep; i’m totally adding it to the menu for my clients! let me know what you think.
